This sampler was originally released in 2008 to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Thorens company. Six LP sides feature 27 songs from the classical, blues, rhythm & blues, jazz and female vocals genres, selected by Acoustic Sounds owner Chad Kassem and the audiophile (classical) recording experts at Reference Recordings.
Each of the tracks is excellently interpreted, perfectly recorded and flawlessly mastered. For the tenth anniversary of Quality Record Pressings, Kassem has decided to bring this outstanding release to market once again.
The triple album comes in a gatefold cover with liner notes by Michael Fremer.
We recommend the use of "L'Art du Son" LP cleaner to wet wash your vinyl. Even new records of high quality production will benefit from this. [...]
